Classic Rock Roll of Honor Recognizes Queen, The Who, Steve Winwood and Jeff Beck

The seventh annual 'Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards' took place at London's Roundhouse last night. Hosted by Kiss bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons the 'Roll of Honour' recognized some of the best of Classic Rock including Queen, The Who, Steve Winwood and Jeff Beck.
Roger Waters took the Event of the Year Award for his 'The Wall Live Tour' - a critically acclaimed, worldwide trip that has played to over 1.6 million people and has become one of the highest grossing tours of all-time.
Queen was the winner of the Re-issue Of The Year Award for their series of re-issued albums while the Classic Album Award went to The Who for 'Quadrophenia'.
Steve Winwood won the inaugural Musician's Union Maestro Award for his contribution and dedication to music. However, the highest honor of the evening went to Jeff Beck who received 'The Living Legend Award' - presented by Queen's Roger Taylor, the announcement met with a standing ovation.
